Tailored Bites began with a simple but radical idea:

Founded in 2017 by a registered dietitian, personal trainer, and chef, Tailored Bites was created to bridge the gap between traditional meal prep and true clinical nutrition support. We saw how difficult it was for people to translate nutrition advice into everyday meals, so we set out to create something better. Personalized, dietitian designed nutrition that actually fits real life.

Rachel Masser, MS, RDN
Founder of Tailored Bites
Rachel Masser is the founder of Tailored Bites
and a registered dietitian, certified personal trainer, and trauma informed nutrition specialist. Her work focuses on blending clinical nutrition science with deeply personalized care.
Her journey into nutrition was shaped by years of experience in clinical nutrition, functional wellness, and hands on culinary work in the kitchen. With a background in women’s health, blood sugar regulation, PCOS, metabolic health, and GLP 1 nutrition support, Rachel created Tailored Bites to bridge the gap between medical nutrition therapy and real life meals.
Today, Tailored Bites serves clients throughout Phoenix and Scottsdale with dietitian designed nutrition and chef prepared meals that support healing, energy, and long-term metabolic health.
Rachel’s vision has always been simple. Food should be personal, purposeful, and supportive of the nervous system and the body’s natural rhythms.
She believes nutrition should feel like coming home to your body, not fighting against it. Her approach is rooted in The Four Agreements, polyvagal theory, and her own lived experience of choosing softness without losing strength.
Rachel leads with clarity, integrity, and a deep belief in the body’s ability to heal when it is properly supported.

Meet Our Founder, Lead Dietitian
& Executive Chef
At the heart of Tailored Bites is founder Rachel Masser, a Master’s level Registered Dietitian and Executive Chef who blends clinical nutrition science with culinary expertise. With more than a decade of experience in medical nutrition therapy and nutrition counseling, Rachel specializes in creating meals that support both health and real life.
Her work focuses on metabolic health, weight management, PCOS, blood sugar regulation, and nutrition support for clients using GLP 1 medications. By combining evidence based nutrition with thoughtful culinary preparation, Rachel designs meals that balance macronutrients, micronutrients, and fiber while still tasting incredible.
Rachel is also a trauma informed nutrition practitioner who believes food should help people rebuild trust with their bodies. Her approach blends clinical insight, behavior change strategies, and chef level cooking to help clients build sustainable habits that support long term health.
Today she leads the Tailored Bites team serving clients across Phoenix and Scottsdale with personalized nutrition support and chef prepared meals.
Samantha Blanton, RDN

Registered Dietitian | Metabolic Health & Culinary Nutrition
Samantha Blanton, RDN is a Registered Dietitian at Tailored Bites who works directly with her own clients to provide personalized nutrition guidance and support. A graduate of Arizona State University in Nutrition and Dietetics, she helps clients feel at home in their bodies without pressure, perfection, or restriction.
Her clinical training began at the VA Medical Center in West Virginia, where she supported veterans managing diabetes, high blood pressure, cholesterol, and weight through sustainable nutrition strategies.
At Tailored Bites, Sammie combines nutrition counseling with a strong culinary foundation, helping design and prepare balanced meals that support metabolic health, GLP 1 medication use, gut health, and women’s health.
Her food philosophy is joyful, flexible, and flavor forward. She believes meals should nourish both the body and the nervous system while still feeling satisfying and enjoyable. Her goal is to help clients build lasting habits with food that feel supportive rather than restrictive.
Esperanza Chayrez-Cabrera, MS, RDN
Registered Dietitian | Chronic Disease & Family Nutrition
Esperanza Chayrez Cabrera, MS, RDN is a Registered Dietitian with a Master’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Arizona State University. Her mission is simple: to make healthy eating feel possible, purposeful, and deeply personal.
Her clinical experience spans both medical and community nutrition settings. She has supported older adults managing Type 2 diabetes, kidney disease, blood pressure concerns, and weight changes, as well as families working to build healthier food patterns at home.
During her supervised practice at the VA Northern Health Care System she strengthened her evidence based approach to nutrition care. Her years working in long term care further developed her expertise in compassionate, individualized support.
Esperanza believes food should add to your life rather than subtract from it. Whether guiding families toward better mealtime routines or helping seniors navigate kidney friendly nutrition, she focuses on building sustainable habits that support long term health.
